The event on April 18th is at the Tokorozawa City Gymnasium (所沢市民体育館). The closest station is Shin-Tokorozawa station (新所沢) on the Seibu-Shinjuku line. From there it's about a 10-minute walk from the East Exit. For directions by train to the station, please use this useful website:
The event begins at 9:00am and finishes at 3:00pm, but you can arrive at any time. Here are the details (times are approximate):
9:00am - open practice for wrestlers
12:00pm - lower division matches, comic sumo performance, drums
1:30pm - upper division ring entrance ceremony and matches
3:00pm - bow-twirling ceremony, end of event
No shoes are allowed on the 1st floor (Ringside, Box, Arena). Bring your own slippers. You can buy them in convenience stores.
Ringside and Box are sitting on the floor and come with souvenir cushion.
Children 3 years old and younger don't need a ticket if they don't need their own seat, but only on the 2nd floor. Children 5 years old and younger may not sit in Ringside 'S' at all.
Food Set contains a boxed lunch, green tea, and program. You can add them to your cart along with your seat ticket. Food sales on the day of the event will be limited, so we advise buying in advance if you want to eat at the event. These sets do not include a ticket to enter the event.
Ticket prices include our service fee (2,000 yen for entry tickets, 500 yen for Sets) and payment fees (about 3% of ticket price).
