The event on April 21st is at the Tokyo Budokan (東京武道館). The closest station is Ayase station (綾瀬), which is on the JR Joban and Chiyoda subway lines. From there it's about a 5-minute walk. For directions by train to the station, please use this useful website:
The event begins at 9:00am and finishes at 3:00pm, but you can arrive at any time. Here are the details (times are approximate):
9:00am - open practice for wrestlers
12:00pm - lower division matches, comic sumo performance, drums
1:30pm - upper division ring entrance ceremony and matches
3:00pm - bow-twirling ceremony, end of event
No shoes are allowed in the venue. Bring your own slippers. You can buy them in convenience stores.
Ringside is sitting on the floor and comes with souvenir cushion.
Children 3 years old and younger don't need a ticket if they don't need their own seat. Children 5 years old and younger may not sit in Ringside at all.
Food Set contains a boxed lunch and green tea. You can add them to your cart along with your seat ticket. Food sales on the day of the event will be limited, so we advise buying in advance if you want to eat at the event. These sets do not include a ticket to enter the event.
Ticket prices include our service fee (2,000 yen for entry tickets, 500 yen for Sets) and payment fees (about 3% of ticket price).
