The event on August 4th is at the Aimesse Yamanashi (アイメッセ山梨). The closest station is Koikawa(Yamanashi) (小井川) on the Minobu Line (身延). From there it's about a 4km taxi ride, but this is a very small station and taxis might not be available. It would be about a 45-minute walk. If you want to use a larger station, you can use Kofu (甲府) and get a taxi from there, which will take about 25 minutes. For directions by train to the stations, please use this useful website:
The event begins at 9:00am and finishes at 3:00pm, but you can arrive at any time. Here are the details (times are approximate):
9:00am - open practice for wrestlers
12:00pm - lower division matches, comic sumo performance, drums
1:30pm - upper division ring entrance ceremony and matches
3:00pm - bow-twirling ceremony, end of event
No shoes are allowed in the venue. Bring your own slippers. You can buy them in convenience stores.
Ringside and Box seats are sitting on the floor and come with souvenir cushion.
Children 5 years old and younger don't need a ticket if they don't need their own seat. Children 5 years old and younger may not sit in Ringside 'SS' at all.
Food Sets are available for purchase in advance. You can add them to your cart along with your seat ticket. Food sales on the day of the event will be limited, so we advise buying in advance if you want to eat at the event. Food Set contains a boxed lunch, green tea, and program. These sets do not include a ticket to enter the event.
Ticket prices include our service fee (2,000 yen for entry tickets, 500 yen for Sets) and payment fees (about 3% of ticket price).
